Q. What types of therapy do you provide?

We utilize a range of therapies including psychodynamic therapy, emotion focused therapy, and attachment informed therapy.

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, and credits cards. We also accept payments from your Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Accounts.

Q. Do you take health insurance?

We are out of network providers and do not accept insurance. However, we will work with you to understand your out of network coverage and how to file your out of network claims.

Q. Do you offer appointments via video or phone?

We are currently offering all of our virtual therapy sessions via video and/or phone. We are using HIPPA secure technology to conduct these sessions. We also offer in person sessions.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?

For Individual, Couples, and Families: You can cancel your appointment up to 24 hours before your scheduled therapy without a fee. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, you will be charged for the full cost of your appointment. For group sessions: You pay for your spot in the group. If you are unable to attend one week, you will still be charged in order to continue holding your spot.

Q. How do you handle data and privacy?

We take the security and confidentiality of your personal information seriously. What you share with your therapist will remain confidential following the rules of HIPAA. We follow industry best practices to ensure that your personal health information is kept secure.

Q. Can only therapists be part of the collective?

No! Anyone involved in the mental health field is welcome, ie dieticians, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, etc

Q. Where is your office located?

We are located on the corner of State and Routh in Uptown Dallas. You can park on the street or behind our historic green house in one of two parking spots labeled for The Mendery. Please enter through the front door of the house.

Q. Do you offer a sliding scale fee?

We maintain a limited amount of sliding scale spots in our schedules. If you do not think you would be able to afford our full fee, do not hesitate to call us, because if we are unable to see you we would be happy to offer referrals to other trusted therapists in the area.
